Reliving my LILLY Journey!

Reflecting on my journey with LILLY since early 2019 and now witnessing its transformation at the new campus on 12th Feb 2025 has been truly remarkable. I was welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm by Principal Ms. Molly Xavier, Manager Mr. Sudhish Kumar, Operations Head Ms. Lekshmy Rajendran and Academic Director Ms. Aja Soney, in the esteemed presence of the Managing Trustee, PDG Lion G. Venukumar. Their hospitality and dedication set the tone for my visit.

The atmosphere at LILLY was filled with positivity, from the serene surroundings to the thoughtfully designed classrooms, modern facilities, dedicated staff, and, most importantly, the wonderful children, all radiating an inspiring sense of growth and progress.

During my visit, I had the privilege of touring the entire campus, observing various activities, and even witnessing a beautiful dance practice session. It was heartening to see how confidently the children interacted - something that had noticeably improved since my last visit. A parent I met shared an emotional testimony about the significant impact LILLY has had on their child’s development; reinforcing the importance of the work being done here!

The vocational side of LILLY has also made incredible strides, introducing creative initiatives such as resin art and mold-making. A perfect demonstration of their progress was a beautifully framed photograph, taken and instantly printed by the vocational team, an outstanding display of skill and innovation!

One of the most touching moments of my visit was attending the closing assembly. The children took the stage with unwavering confidence, performing a group song with grace and determination. Their spontaneous keenness was a testament to their growth and the nurturing environment that LILLY provides.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to engage with the staff, and their insights into what LILLY means to them were truly inspiring. Their unwavering dedication, selflessness, and willingness to go beyond conventional job roles are the driving forces behind LILLY’s success. The essence, the very DNA of LILLY lies in its inclusiveness, collaborative spirit, and commitment to fostering innovation without being bound by rigid structures.

As I look ahead, I see LILLY evolving to even greater heights. While our mission has always been to "make the ordinary possible" for these incredible children, I now believe we are on the path to making the "extraordinary possible."

My sincere appreciation to PDG Lion G. Venukumar and his exceptional team for their unwavering commitment to selfless service. Their relentless efforts continue to uplift and empower these special children, making a lasting difference in their lives!
