Our experienced special educators, trained in communicating with children facing challenges, are experts in addressing the child's individual abilities and needs, which include challenges with learning and communication, emotional and behavioural issues, physical and developmental challenges.
We have three therapists who work with children and young adults of all ages. Along with providing sensory integration activities our physiotherapistfocuses on the treatment of physical challenges, rehabilitation therapist provides training in carrying out daily activities and speech therapistprovides training in speech and language development and oral motor activities.
For our senior students over the age of 18 years we provide vocational education suited to their individual skill sets, and interest. Vocational Education aims to train students in various skill-based activities to help them understand the concept of a job and job-related functional activities. The goal and function of vocational education for students facing challenges is providing them with skills to secure employment, self-employment, physical work or business opportunities for independent living.
Participating in sports is the best form of exercise that helps in energy release, boosting self-confidence and gives each student the pure joy of playing sports. It also improves skills in relationship building and helps them in working as part of a team. For students facing various developmental challenges games help in developing social competence, physical and motor fitness, game skills and helps in understanding competition and teamwork.
